Melvin Larry Miller age 78 of New Castle passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 at his home.
He was born Sept 12, 1931 the son of Francis (Bud) and Nellie Adams Miller. He retired from Dana Corp in 1991, he also worked at New Castle Welding for many years and was owner of Miller's Septic Service Business. He was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, and past member of the New Castle Lions Club. He was a member of Genealogical Society of Henry County and enjoyed taking photos.
He was married 43 years to the late Judith Lea Fine Miller, together they had 9 children Larry (Gail) Miller of Tacoma, WA., Susan Harper of Columbus, OH., Tura Lynn (Richard) Klepfer of Crawfordsville, IN., Mike (Sue) Kautz of New Castle, IN., Becky (Terry) Southerland of New Castle, IN., Linda Kautz (companion Steve Gwinnup) of Falmouth, IN., Marla (David) Weesner of New Castle, IN., Amy (Greg) Drown of New Castle, IN., 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, both his parents, brother Ronnie Miller, brother Don Miller and sister Mary Miller, a son Dane Miller, son in law Charlie Harper and grandson Matthew Coop.
Services will be Friday January 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
