Sarah Malinda Campbell was born on April 20, 1884, in Barnes, Arkansas, her father, Cyrus, was 35, and her mother, Sarah, was 45. The name that stuck with her for life was 'Linda'. She married James Leonard McClellan on May 18, 1898. Having ten children in 23 years she did not work outside the home. My dad would tell me about how she was all the kids teacher and mom. Of course, they knew the Bible as much as their math. She died on March 11, 1951, in Ozark, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried there.
