CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Elsie M. McCurdy, 104, of Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of Leafmore Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at the center.

Born Oct. 22, 1898, in Dauphin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Lea Stout Demy.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Brenner, in 1963; and by her second husband, William A. McCurdy, in 1988.

She was a member of King Street United Brethren Church.

She is survived by one daughter, L. Jean Cramer of Chambersburg; three granddaughters, Marsha Chop of Sykesville, Md., and Janis Stannert and Dru Cramer, both of Chambersburg; four grandsons, George Frey of Monrovia, Md., James Frey of Scotland, Pa., Jeffrey Cramer of Chambersburg, and Jerry Frey of Fayetteville, Pa.; six great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter; two sisters; and one brother.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to King Street United Brethren Church, 162 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
