"Of the Banister children, Mamie was a teacher, marrying Herman Von Heuvel in 1914. An only son, Billy Banister Von Heuvel, was born in 1919 (sic), died in 1921." (A History of Coleman County and Its People, 1985," John R. Banister Family by Leona Bruce.)

Mamie Von Heuvel died of complications of surgery done after having a child on July 22, 1920. See her death certificate shown here. It is interesting to note that the informant on her death certificate was her brother, Neill Banister.
