EVANS, Ga. - Debra Sue Griffin, 53 of Columbus, Georgia passed on to her heavenly home on Monday afternoon, February 1, 2010. Debra was born on June 21, 1956, in Lafayette, AL. Graveside funeral Services will be held at Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Alvin Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that memorial donations be made to the college fund for her son, Jonathan Scott, c/o Georgia Bank & Trust 406 Fury's Ferry Rd. Martinez, GA 30907. Debra was a mother, sister, chef, decorator, football coach, chauffeur, party planner, and loved to laugh. She loved life and loved her family. She will be missed more than words can express. Debra, a member of Faith Community Church of Evans, is survived by her son Jonathan, her sister Dianne Gay, her brothers Michael & Bobby Griffin, their nieces, Susan Jernigan and Sharon Jones.
