Graveside rites will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock for Michael Lee Thurman, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Thurman Jr., of 218 West Fifth street.
The two-day-old child died Saturday morning at the North Plains hospital. Besides his parents, the infant is survived by a sister, Shirley; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Matthews of Chillicothe, and paternal grandparents, B.L. Thurman Sr. of Bakersfield, Calif. and Mrs. Daisy Morrow of Borger.
Rites will be at the local cemetery at 2 p.m. with the Rev. C.T. Aly, pastor of the Phillips Baptist Church, officiating.
