Alva Leckrone had been carrying a splinter in his eye ever since corn cutting time and did not know it until Thursday, though he knew his eye was mighty sore. He was struck in the eye by a blade of corn when he was cutting corn last fall and since then the eye has given him a great deal of trouble. It ws removed by a specialist of Huntington.
