Great grandson of Maximilian Wildes (ca. 1800-22 Jul 1838) and Mary Wilkinson (1805-22 Jul 1838), who were both murdered in the last Seminole Massacre in Waycross, Ware Co., GA along with the rest of their family, except 4 boys, Reuben/Ruben; Jesse, James Christopher; and John.

Further research by me in the Reidsville Courthouse (computer) for births and deaths in Tattnall County, I found another child: Lonnie Franklin Wilds, b. 11 Oct 1930; d. 27 Apr 2015 who is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Effingham Co., GA
