PLAINVIEW, Jan. 14 (Special) Funeral services are expected to be held Friday for A.B. Rosser, 77, for over 40 years a resident of this city, who was found dead by his son, Bernard Rosser at his home Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Rosser apparently had been dead several hours when found. Condition of the room indicated he had arisen and eaten breakfast and then started to take a nap when when [sic] death overtook him.

Five daughters and three sons survive: Mrs. Glenn A. Smith, Plainview; Mrs. Buy Prior, Hollywood, Calif.; Mrs. J.T. Ross, Alamogordo, N.M.; Mrs. J.W. Adamson, Ashtola; Mrs. Newton Gilbert, Chickasha, Okla.; A.B. Jr., Hollywood, Calif.; L.B. of Lascar and Bernard, Plainview.

Mr. Rosser was a rancher. He came here in 1867. Mrs. Rosser died about 25 years ago. All of the children from away from Plainview are expected here for the funeral.
