Burns is survived by his wife and two children, Charline, 9, and Harold, 3: parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Burns of Plainview; three brothers, Simon of Mobeetie, Dudley of White Deer, John of Childress; and two sisters, Florence Triggs of Childress and Mrs. L.N. Ribble of Portales, N.M.
Arrangements were in charge of the Carver-Powell funeral chapel.
