Services for C.P. Burns, 38, who died in a local hospital Sunday evening from pneumonia were held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock in the Church of Christ, with Guy Wood officiating.

The body was taken overland to Plainview, where last rites and burial will be today.

Burns is survived by his wife and two children, Charline, 9, and Harold, 3: parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Burns of Plainview; three brothers, Simon of Mobeetie, Dudley of White Deer, John of Childress; and two sisters, Florence Triggs of Childress and Mrs. L.N. Ribble of Portales, N.M.

Arrangements were in charge of the Carver-Powell funeral chapel.
