William Reuben Westbrook, 75, resident of route 3 Springdale in the Oak Grove community, died March 26, 11:35 p.m. at the Springdale Memorial hospital. He was born Mar. 10, 1891 at Huntsville the son of Joseph and Pheba Anna Phillips Westbrook and was a member of the Caudle Avenue Baptist Church at Springdale.

He is survived by his wife Eva Alice Cowan Westbrook, to whom he was married Aug. 22, 1913 in Huntsville; four sons, Sam of Calif., Lester, Carl and Jack of Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Margaret) Hufford and Mrs. James (Anna) McGee both of Springdale; two half-brothers, Link and George, both of Calif., and three half-sisters, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Callison-Sisco Funeral chapel with Rev. Hugh McGehee officiating. Burial was in the Friendship cemetery under the direction of Callison-Sisco.
