After a long illness, Mrs. Lewis Allen died at her home west of Kings Mills at 8:20 a.m., Sunday, last week, at the age of 44 years.
Funeral took place Wednesday forenoon at SS Peter and Paul's Church at North Branch conducted by the Rev. Fr. J. H. Koelzer. Interment was in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery, south of the village.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Allen and three daughters and two sons; Mrs. Arthur Silkowski of Detroit, the Misses Aileen and Betty Allen and Leo and Edward all at home; six brothers, Frank Lange of Lapeer, Lawrence Lange of Pontiac and John, Bernard and Herman all of North Branch township; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Jasper of Lapeer, Mrs. Anthony Parsch and Mrs. John Brinker of Center Line and Mrs. George Medbury of Saginaw; her mother, Mrs. Frank Lange of Five Lakes. She also leaves one grandson.
Alma Lange was born at Five Lakes on January 12, 1892. In the fall of 1910, she became the bride of Lewis Allen and since her marriage had lived at the farm home where her death occurred.
