Services for Charles Lenroe Harrigill Sr., 75, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Laird Funeral Home, with the Revs. Mitchell Cochran and Mike Harrigill officiating. Burial will be at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Harrigill was born Apr. 24, 1924, in Bude, the son of John V. Harrigill and Arrie Newell. He was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Young and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Helen Smith Harrigill of Natchez; five children, Elaine and Ford Curry of Jackson, Linda and Ken Whitman of Baton Rouge, La., Charles and Kathy Harrigill and Carolyn O'Beirne, all of Natchez and Melody and Carl Fuqua of Vidalia, La.; 12 grandchildren, Dean, Anne and Richard Curry, Neil Whitman, Melissa Maiello, Dana Bennett, Charlie and Robert Harrigill, Joshua Burke, John O'Beirne and Chad and Lindsey Fuqua; five great-grandchildren, Kevin Lee and Christopher Curry, Kaycie Bennett and Tyler and Ryan Harrigill; four brothers, Fred Harrigill of Jackson, Jack Harrigill of Roxie, Bobby Harrigill of Natchez and Larry Harrigill of Vicksburg; three sisters, Carolyn Kiser of Natchez and Jewell Farmer and Patsy Shell, both of Roxie; a stepmother, Doris Carter of Roxie; and friends Mr. and Mrs. M.K. Cassels, both of Natchez. Pallbearers are Dean Curry, Neil Whitman, Charlie Harrigill, Robert Harrigill, Richard Curry and Joshua Burke. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Fuqua and John O'Beirne.
