Funeral services for Mrs. Walter B. Garr, 80, of 2151 Boulevard Granada SW, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beecher Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence F. Sessions officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Methodist Churchyard near Jackson. Mrs. Garr died Monday in a private hospital. The former Lizzie Mapp, she was a native of Jackson and had lived in Atlanta 17 years. She was a member of Providence Methodist Church and was a widow. She is survived by a son, L.W. Garr of Atlanta, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Ham of Atlanta and Mrs F.S. Cook of Brunswick.
