WOODRUFF. April 16 - Johnny Kemper Taylor, 68, died at a Woodruff hospital at 1 p.m. Tuesday following several months' illness. He was the son of the late James and Luvainia Moore Taylor and member of Northside Baptist Church and Bethel Lodge AFM 112 He had been in the textile business for more than 40 years, and had been employed at the Woodruff plant of Abney Mills for the past 28 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Agnes Blackwell Taylor: four sons. Harold Taylor of Greenville, Leroy and Charles Tavlor of Woodruff and Flovd Tavlor of Portsmouth, Va.: two daughters, Mrs. Frances Stephens of Woodruff and Mrs. Mildred Thompson of Decatur, Ga.; four brothers, Marvin, R. L.. and Odez Taylor of Greenville, and J. I. Taylor of Hendersonville, N. C.: three sisters. Mrs. Mamie Tucker. Mrs. Bertha Paris and Mrs. Hattie Loftis of Greenville; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p. m. at Northside Baptist Church by the Rev. J. L. McCluney and the Rev. Roy R. Gowan. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Greenville. After 4 p. m. Wednesday the bodv will be at the home on Woodruff Street Extension. Lamar Lanford Funeral Home is in charge.
