Joe S. Mayo, Retired Merchant, Died Friday
Joe Seavers Mayo, 76, died at his home in the Gann community, a few miles north of Milan, late Friday. Mr. Mayo was a lifelong resident of Gibson County and a retired merchant. He was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted at Poplar Springs Church Sunday afternoon and burial followed in the cemetery there. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Etta Parris and Mrs. Beulah of Crocker of the Gann Community.
