George McCullen Bowser was born November 15, 1864 in Pine Township, Armstrong County., Pa the son of Jeremiah 1832-1909 and Caroline Williams Bowser 1837-1888. Caroline was the daughter of John and Sarah Williiams of Pine Twp Armstrong Co, Pa. Jeremiah and Caroline are both buried at Distant Cemetery.

George married Sarah Anne Bish,she was born March 26, 1873 and died November 17, 1903. Sarah was the daughter of Jacob Bish and Angelina Slagle Shreffler Bish.

George and Sarah lived in Oak Ridge, then Mudlick at the time of Sarah's death. George also lived at Hawthorn, Proptown, Huey, on his son Grover's farm where he built a two room shanty about 1925 and then back to Huey. He lost part of one arm about 1936 due to an infection. George lived near his daughter Carrie at Huey, Pa from about 1945 until his death.

George died November 11, 1954 according to family history but his stone says 1955.

Suggested edit: George McCullen Bowser and Sarah Anne Bish Bowser had a son by the name of Mont Aaron Bowser.
