Julie A. Hancock, 26, Kokomo, died at 5:14 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 7, 1980 in Kokomo to Mark A & Cindy S. (Shubert) Hancock and had previously lived in Tipton for 12 years and had attended Tipton High School.

She is survived by her mother, Cindy Hancock, Tipton; her father and step-mother, Mark and Peggy Hancock, Kokomo; two sisters, Eve McCool and Carrie McCool, both of Tipton; a step-brother, Bennett Hancock, Jacksonville, Florida; her fiancé Sam Young, Kokomo and his parents Sherry & Ron Young; grandparents Daniel Shubert, Tipton, Jim & Joan Hancock, Kokomo; aunts and uncles Sandy Warner and husband Jim Lee, Lebanon, Clark & Melva Shubert, Texas, Bruce Shubert, Lafayette, Dick & Louann West, Sharpsville, Cindy & Walt Jones, Oklahoma, Debbie Spears, Kokomo, and Phil Hancock, Speedway; other family Vina Sizmore, Zula Cowan and Jerry Malston, all of Windfall; good friend Mike McCool, Tipton.

Her funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Verl Winslow. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Tuesday before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
