Rev. John Everette Wren Sr., Gaffney
The Rev. John Everette Wren Sr., 84, of Peachtree Centre, died Nov. 1, 1999, at Peachtree Centre.
He was a son of the late George Fredrick and Cloia Whittle Wren. He was pastor of First Baptist Church of Gaffney.
Survivors: wife, Mary Blanche Petty Wrenn; sons, John Wren Jr. of King, N.C., Joe Wren of Summerville, Jim Wren of Charlotte, and Jack Wren of Rock Hill; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased: a daughter, Sandra Wren.
Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. today at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church. Burial: Oakland Cemetery.
