Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday in the Owen Funeral Home for Charles O. Powell, 64, retired oil field driller and former member of the Pennsylvania State Police.
Powell died Thursday in the Muskogee Veterans Administration Hospital. Burial will be in the Kellyville Cemetary, Kellyville.
He moved to Sapulpa eight years ago from Kellyville, where he belonged to the Methodist Church. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, he spent eight years in the Marine Corps and six in the Navy.
Survivors include two sons, Jack(Ann) Powell, Bill(Flora Jo) Powell, two daughters, Charlene(Ray) Balcer, Norma(Winford) Adams. Nine grandshildren Craig and Nikki Powell, Billy Powell, Stephanie and Brad Adams, Brent, Brenda, Kim and Becky Balcer. One brother and three sisters.
