Bonnie Jean Davis, the daughter of Zopher and Emaline Louisa (Meyers) Perkins was born December 18, 1911 at Malvern, Iowa.
Bonnie married Edward Lewis Davis on April 26, 1932 at Nebraska City, Nebraska. They lived in Anita, where she was a member of the Baptist Church and was employed as a sales clerk for the Gamble Store. Bonnie died at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa on January 22, 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward in 1958; infant daughter; sisters, Winnie McCarty, Iva Ferrel, Fannie Chard, Mary Hogland, and Ruth Perkins; brothers, Lyle, Carroll, Bly, Ralph, and Glenn. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lucille Perkins of Glenwood, Iowa and nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on January 25, 1996 at the Malvern, Iowa Cemetery with Reverend Richard T. Wheatley of the Glenwood First Baptist Church officiating.
Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
