Benjamin married Eleanor B. Toole -05 Sep 1839- in Blount County, TN.

Benjamin was so distraught over how his family was treated in Sevier County, TN because of their Confederate Civil War associations, Benjamin requested that he not be returned from Chattanooga nor buried in Sevier County, TN when he died!

Benjamin actually buried here:
Winchester City Cemetery, Winchester, Franklin County, TN
Benjamin has a memorial marker in his
