Services were Monday for former Tipp City resident Ida Watt Shaffer, who died Thursday at Friendship Village, Dayton.
Mrs. Shaffer was a retired teacher who worked in Dayton public schools, Villa Julienne, and Tipp City schools.
She was a member of the National and Ohio Teachers Associations and the United Methodist Church, Tipp City.
She is survived by her husband, Carl R., and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Sullivan, Knoxville, Tenn.
Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
