Henry Bradley
Who departed this life on the 8th April
AD 1825
aged forty three years
He longed enjoyed the confidence and
respect of his fellow citizens and was by them
advanced to every office in their gift for which
he was considerate
At the time of his deceased he was Major
General commanding the 3rd Division
of South Carolina Militia consisting of
eight regiments of infantry, two regiments
of cavalry, besides artillery and riflemen.
His term as Lieutenant Governor of
had but a short time expired at his
decease. In him society lost a useful member
and to his friends his loss is irreperable.
