William F. Kalberer. 78. died of heart trouble at 8:50 o'clock Wednesday evening at his home, 225 South Fourth Street after an illness of two weeks.
Born in Germany April 10. 1859. He came to America in 1886. On April 8, 1883, he married, Barbara Eberhart, who survives, together with three sons, Christian G. Lafayette, and Karl E. and William F. Jr., South Bend: one brother, Ernest, Layette, and two sisters, Wilhelmina Kalberer. Cincinnati. O., and Mrs. Pauline Mack, Lafayette.
He was a retired farmer and belonged to the Brown Street M. E. church, Funeral services Friday at 2:30 p. m., from the family home. The Rev. C. C. Harold, of Brown Street church, will officiate; the burial in Greenbush cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 6 p.m. Thursday. Soller Baker in charge.
