Wilma P. Beach
Graveside funeral services for Wilma P. Beach, 70, of Grenada, formerly of Leflore County, were at 11 a.m. Thursday at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs. Beach died Jan. 11, 2010, at South Sunflower Hospital in Indianola of cancer.
She was born in Monroe County on Dec. 16, 1939, to the late Archie and Cordie Sullivan Carter. Mrs. Beach lived in Grenada for the past two years and was a member of Greenwood Community Church.
In addition to her parents, preceding Mrs. Beach in death are her husband, Dennis Beach Jr.; four sisters, Dorothy Mae Horton, Mary Ann Cody, Bessie Munsell and Danie Collins; and three brothers, Lloyd Carter, Morris Dean Carter and James Carter.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Lynn Proctor of Grenada and Judy Lynn Manzanilla of Channelview, Texas; five sons, Dennis Marvin Beach of Grenada, Mark Anthony Pujol of Overton, Texas, Jeffrey Wayne Pujol of Channelview, Joseph Joe Pujol of Pass Christian, Miss., and Danny Ray Burgeron of Poplarville; a step-daughter, Gayla Beach of Greenwood; a step-son, Dennis Henry Beach of Greenwood; a sister, Gloria Carey of Poplarville; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
