E. Marie (Shields) Priester, 90, of Kittanning, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born November 29, 1917, in Boggsville, daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Sasse) Shields.

She was a housewife and formerly worked in the housekeeping department of ACMH. She was a proud member of Faith Cathedral. Even after her health prevented her from attending church she was still a very active prayer partner. She was also a past member of the Goheenville Homemakers. She loved her grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and her cat, Muffin. She enjoyed bird watching, going out to eat, her flowers and gardening, and truly enjoyed her trips to Lancaster.

Survivors include her grandsons, David Klingensmith, of Virginia, and Robert (Cheryl) Klingensmith, of Maryland; granddaughter, Diane Tant, of Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Britney and Kyle Klingensmith and William Tant; four great-great-grandchildren, Hanah, Conner, Nathan and Autumn Tant; sister, Sarah "Sally" McMillan, of Ohio; and many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Priester; daughter, Beverly Christner; one infant son and infant daughter; four brothers, Robert, Charles, Richard and Harry Shields; and sister, Florence (Rusz) Knappenberger.

Interment will be in Mudlic Cemetery, Redbank Township
