Mayburn L. Hockenberry, 78, of 724 Fern Dr., Kittanning, died Sunday at Armstrong County Health Center. She was born Nov. 7, 1907, in Allegheny County, a daughter of Joseph and Lilly Blanche (Leasure) Wolff. She was a life-long member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, a member of F.O.E. Auxiliary and Women of the Moose, Kittanning. Survivors include two sons, Jay D. Hockenberry of Deerfield, Wis. and Frank L. Hockenberry, Jr., of Kittanning; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold F. (Winifred) Weaver of Kittanning and Mrs. F. (Joann) Thorp of Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Joseph W. Wolfe of Natrona Heights; two sisters, Frida Wolfe of Zelienople and Margaret Zellefrow of Kittanning; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Hockenberry, on Nov. 6, 1985; a son, Eddie Joe, and a brother, Edward Wolff. HOCKENBERRY - Friends of Mayburn L. Hockenberry, 78, of 724 Fern Dr., Kittanning, who died Sunday, August 31, 1986, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. David Saylor, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
