KENTON, Dec. 20 - Mrs. Nancy Pierce, 89, died at 5 a.m. Friday after a six year illness in McGuffey, where she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Jarvis.

Born in Meggs-co, she had lived in McGuffey 35 years. She leaves a daughter, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband and two sons are deceased.

Time of funeral services is not yet known. Hanson funeral home, Alger, is in charge, and burial will be in Preston cemetery.
