VALERIE J. "INGY" PLUNKETT, 59, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Hospice Home. Born Aug. 7, 1950, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Frances (Martinez) Fordyce and the late Max Fordyce. She retired from Manco Power Sports as a Supervisor. She loved gardening, sketching and reading. Also surviving are children, Maria J. Plunkett of Fort Wayne and Troy Plunkett of Huntertown; grandchildren, Korban Christensen, Brenah Plunkett, Cerah Young, Marshal Thieme, Kyle Plunkett, and Kollette Plunkett; great-grandchildren, Morgan Carteaux, Nova Plunkett and Lilyanna Guerrero; sisters, Sherry Henry and Kay Logan, Julie (Rich) Hartman, and Elaine (Tom) Beckman, all of Fort Wayne, and Connie Gonzalez of Decatur; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Jefrey Buckmaster. Service is 1 p.m. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Preschool. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
