Friday 16 July 1965

Sister Mary of St. Rose Virginie, 72, former superior of St. John Vianney School for Girls at 4801 E. 101st St. died today in St. Louis.

Sister Mary served as superior at the school from 1951 until 1957 when she returned to the St. Louis convent for Good Shepherd Sisters.

Earlier, she had been a co-founder of St. John Vianney School and served as assistant superior from 1932 until 1934.
While she was serving as superior, the convent at the school was built.

Sister Mary also served as superior in Chicago, Phoenix and St. Louis.
