ALLCORN, EARL E., age 89, of Oneonta, Alabama, died November 28, 2001 in Gadsden, Alabama. He was born in Jefferson County, Alabama. He was a member of Oneonta 2nd Baptist Church. As a Baptist Minister, he pastored several churches in Jefferson and St. Clair Counties. Survivors include: wife, Olna Allcorn of Oneonta, Alabama; sons, Wayne Allcorn (Lorene) of Oneonta, Alabama, and David Allcorn (Linda) of Blountsville, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Alice Allcorn of Oneonta, Alabama; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Pearl Allison of Clay, Alabama; brothers, Fred Allcorn of Oneonta, Alabama and G. W. Allcorn of Clay, Alabama. He was preceded in death by: son, Thomas Allcorn; granddaughter, Lori Allcorn; brothers, Brice and J. C. Allcorn.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Lemley Funeral Chapel. Funeral service at Welcome Baptist Church (Palmerdale, Alabama) will be held Friday, November 30, 2001 at 2:00 P.M.; (Lying-in-State from 1:00 until 2:00). Interment at Clay Community Cemetery (Clay, Alabama. Ministers: Bro. Bill Parkins and Bro. Lon Britt. Lemley Brown Service Funeral Home of Oneonta is directing.
