Michael F. Gincley of Nottingham

Michael F. Gincley, 56, of Nottingham, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
He was the husband of Kathryn Goddard Gincley.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of Francis A. and Jessie Marino Gincley of West Chester.
Michael was a graduate of Henderson High School, where he excelled in soccer.
After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served for five years.
He then played semi-pro soccer for the Florida Suncoast Soccer League.
Michael owned and operated an auto body business until he was injured in a motorcycle accident, and prior to that, he was a Chippendale.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Staci Gincley; stepdaughter, Amanda Clayton; sister, Michelle Porco, and her husband, Nick, of West Chester; sister, Lisa Nichols, and her husband, Robert, of Parkesburg; and grandchildren, Alyssa and Coral Gincley. He is also survived by nieces, Julya Nichols, Jennifer Porco, Noelle Porco and Jessie Porco.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, where relatives and friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amputee Coalition of America, Development Office, 900 E. Hill Ave. #205, Knoxville, TN 37915.
