Howard Gaylord Adams, 69, of DeLand died April 23, 1983 at Kirby Hospital Monticello. He was born Feb 10, 1914 at Rutland, a s/o John Q. & Daisy Bickel Adams.
He was a World War II Veteran and member of the DeLand American Legion Post and the VFW at Hot Springs SD. He retired in 1969 after serving as a postal clerk at DeLand and Decatur.
Survivors include a brother, Leslie E. Adams of Onarga; and several nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister, Alberta, preceded him in death.
Mr. Adams was a member of the DeLand United Methodist Church.
