Henry Mette of Flint Hill died Saturday at 2:20 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis. He was 76 years old.
Mr. Mette, a bachelor, was a son of the late Bernard Mette and Josephine Kalhoff. He was born and lived all his life at the farm near Flint Hill.
Two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Honerkamp and Mrs. Salome Kaimann, both of St. Charles, are the last survivors of nine children.
The body was at T. E. Pitman funeral home in Wentzville until a requiem mass was offered this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Flint Hill. Burial was in the church cemetery.
