MACKINAW -- Sterling F. Keyser, 83, of 13068 Keyser Road died at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at Heritage Manor in Normal.

Born Aug. 2, 1910, in Mackinaw to Frank and Catherine Hardwig Keyser, he married Mildred Larimore on Nov. 23, 1938, in Bloomington. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Richard of Roscoe, and Darrell and David, both of Morton; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

He was a farmer and did custom corn shelling, bailing, butchering and trucking.

He was a member of the Tazewell County Farm Bureau.

He was a member of Mackinaw Christian Church, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Don Doty will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 tonight at Haensel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Mackinaw Rescue Squad or his church.
