Frederick K. Andrus
Yesterday afternoon Frederick K. Andrus, one of the oldest and best known business men of Ithaca, died at his home in that city. The cause of his death was paralysis but for some years he had been a sufferer from rheumatism and that was the direct cause. Mr. Andrus was born and had always resided in Ithaca. For many years he had been a member of the book firm Andrus & Church. He was a trustee of the Ithaca Savings Bank and was prominent in business circles. For many years he was a member of the Congregational Church choir. He is survived by four children: Mrs. F.M. Wixsom of Elmira, and the Misses Mary, Catherine and Frederica of Ithaca, and one sister Mrs. Frederick Hall of Elmira.
The funeral will be held at the late residence Wednesday at 3 p.m., the Rev. E.A. George officiating. Interment will be in the City Cemetery, Ithaca.
