Born in Alabama or Mississippi. Second wife of Thomas Anderson Cleveland (m. February 23,1858); mother of Charles Anderson, Lila ???, Mary Melvina ???, Benjamin Andrew (my great-grandfather), James Edward, and Daniel Armstrong. About the year 1871 she joined the Missionary Baptist Church. Her epitaph reads, "She died as she lived --- a Christian."
