"OBITUARY"
Mrs. Rena Fay Crume, 68, of Rt. 4, died Thursday morning at Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Marshall County April 24, 1901, and had lived in Elkhart for the past 40 years. Formerly, she had lived in Mishawaka for 28 years.
Surviving are three sons, John Earl, Bagley, Minn.; Allen T. and Carl, both of Elkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Oles, Niles, and Mrs. Virginia Ellinger, with whom she made her home; 28 grand children, 48 great grandchildren, six brother, Noble, Ft. Meyers Fla.; Alvin, Michigan City, Paul, Lonnie, Charles and Edward all of Mishawaka; two sister, Mrs. Roland Myers, Gtsmhrt, and Mrs. Gene Hail, Mishawaka.
Friends may call at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, after 7 p.m. Saturday until service time at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Donald Long, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Harris Prairie Cemetery.

Rena, was the first of Nine children born to James E. and Francis Hattie (Kaufman) Gill. She married Earl Miles Crume on Jun. 11, 1916 in St Joseph, Berrien Co., MI. To this union were born five children.
