Lola Mae Adams Crum, 96,died Nov. 20, 2004, at Alterra Sterling House, Dodge City. She was born May 29, 1908, at Dodge City, daughter of Arthur Wilson and Lydia Pottorff Adams. She graduated from Dodge City High School, Emporia State and Fort Hays State with a masters degree in education.She tought at Dodge City, in California and Arizona.
She belonged to First Church of God, Dodge City, Ford County Historical Society, the Retired Teachers Association and the Kansas State Historical Society, and was a life member of NEA. On Sept 1, 1962 she married Lloyd Harper. He died in 1962. On Dec. 29 1974, she married Len Crum at Dodge City. He died June 11, 2000. Survivors include a sister, Zola Longton, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Revs. Lanning Bollacker and Lucille Luckey presiding. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, Burial will be in Greencrest Cemetery, Dodge City.
