Mr. Bryan joined the Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Sam Houston Normal College at Huntsville. In September, 1884, he was united in marriage to Miss Laura Hooper. He spent most of his life in East Texas in the lumber business. Mr. Bryan moved to Graham in 1925.
Survived by his wife; four sons -- Paul Bryan, Pat Bryan, Robert Hooper Bryan, L.T. Bryan; one daughter - Maude McConnell; three brothers; three sisters; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
