She was a loving wife to Ike W. Crabtree of Van Buren for 63 years, who will miss her dearly.
Mary loved Jesus and was a faithful charter member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church. She was a pre-school teacher for 12 years at Kiddie Kampus in Fort Smith where she was fondly known as Miss Mary. She and her husband, Ike, enjoyed seeing new places and making new friends, traveling in their RV. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by many.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Zula Bruner; three brothers, Frank, Merrill, and Jay W. Bruner and two sisters, Rosie Queener and Sherril Baker.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Rosemary Wagoner and her husband, Charlie of Van Buren; two sons, Keith Crabtree and his wife, Connie of Van Buren, AR and Bruce Crabtree and his wife, Frankie of Fort Smith, AR; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Antis Adams and her husband, Bill, Betty Neal and her husband Gib, and Dorothy Freeman all of Tulsa, OK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandson, Jonathan Crabtree, great-grandsons, Michael and Travis Law, brother-in-law, Donald Crabtree, and family friends, Stephen Lee and Tim Mays.
