He was born March 10, 1918 in Widnoon to George and Elizabeth (Minnick) Hopper.
A laborer, Mr. Hopper was last employed by A.P. Green Co. in Climax before his retirement. He attended Oakland Church of God in Distant and was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Doris L. (Keener) Hopper, whom he married March 6, 1953; two sons, Danny T. Hopper of New Bethlehem RD#3 and Dick E Hopper of Templeton RD#2; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Debra) Barrett of Templeton RD#2; eight grandchildren; a sister, Jane Wineberg of Templeton RD#2 and three brothers, twins, Alvin and Allen Hopper both of Templeton, RD#2 and Royce Hopper of Fennelton.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 12, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn with the Rev. Clarence E. Dillon, pastor of Oakland Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Kellersburg Methodist Cemetery.
