Margaret E. Dougherty Dumas, age 71 of Warrenton, passed Friday 1 January 2010 at her residence.
Ms. Dumas was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was born in Philadelphia on August 5th, 1938. A devout Catholic, she was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Dougherty. Mrs. Dumas was a long-time resident of Springfield, VA and a retired employee of the Naval Sea Systems Command.
In addition to her husband William Dumas, she is survived by five children, Deborah, Lorraine, Michael, Joseph, Daniel, and 13 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial conducted at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Gainesville, VA, Thursday, January 7, 2010, Father Francis J. Peffley resided. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, Virginia
