Final Rites for Mrs. Hales to be Conducted Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Hales, 68, who died Friday afternoon, will be conducted at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Marvin Adams, 317 North Fourth Street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. L.F. Braddy and the Rev. M.C. Rogers will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Coates Bend. Woodliff (Funeral Home) directing.
Surviving are three sons, Robert, J.W. and W.M. Hales of Gadsden; five daughters, Mrs. J.H. Hardy, Gadsden; Mrs. John Sherrell, Gadsden; Mrs. Telmar Stallings, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Clora Thomas, Anniston and Mrs. Marvin Adams, Gadsden, and one sister, Mrs. William Richie, Pittsburgh, California.
Mrs. Hales had been a resident of the Hammond mine community for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Pallbearers will be Roy Sharp, L.M. Geer, W.C. Adams, George ?, Sam Thrift and Herman White.
