Mrs. Henry Berry

Mrs. Vallie Lee Berry, 84, widow of Henry Berry, died Thursday, March 22, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Voight Jenkins, of Maryus. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Sam Evans of Messick, and Mrs. Robert Blake of Naxera; three sons, Henry Berry of Naxera, Bryant Berry of Maryus and Garry Berry of Poquoson; four sisters, Mrs. Ambrose West of Portsmouth, Mrs. Eddie Berry of Hampton, Mrs. Charlie Sparrow of Newport News and Mrs. Arthur Brown of New Point; one brother, Marcellus West of Newport News; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at Hogg Funeral Home, Wicomico, at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by The Rev. Harry E. Flowers, minister of First Presbyterian Church.

Interment followed in Severn Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Naxera.

Pallbearers were Ned Berry, Lency Berry, James Berry, Donald Berry, Harold Gwynn and Frank Taylor.
