Mrs. Lucy Alianello
PORTSMOUTH --- Mrs. Lucy Brescia Alianello, 63, of 4016 Caroline Ave. died Monday in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of Victor Alianello and a daughter of Angelo and Mrs. Marie Didio Brescia.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Blessed Virgin Sodality and Altar and Sanctuary Society of St. Paul's. She also was a member of Maryview Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence J. Balsamo, Mrs. Robert F. Wilson and Mrs. Robert J. Strothers of Portsmouth; a son, Victor Alianello, Jr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Mrs. W. C. Ray, Sr. of Detroit; and 14 grandchildren.

The body was taken to Brennan Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited tonight at 8. A funeral service will be held in St. Paul's Catholic Church Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Notes for Lucy Brescia:
Nicknamed "Aunt Shoe" because Uncle Bill couldn't say Lucy. She lived on Henry St. Per Nancy Leaone, Uncle Victor had a girlfriend and Aunt Lucy would make a plate of leftovers that he would take to her.
