Albert W. Dice, 75, of Clarksburg, died Oct. 4, 2006, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Born Dec. 24, 1930, in Acosta, he was a son of the late Clarence and Iva Putman Dice.

Prior to his retirement in 1977, he worked as a coal miner for 20 years. He was also a truck driver for PyroFax Gas Company. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Saltsburg, the Saltsburg Fire Department, and the Saltsburg American Legion.

Mr. Dice is survived by his wife, Betty J. Johnson Dice; three sons, Robert, Saltsburg, John and wife Darla Ann, Saltsburg, and Kenneth and wife Cynthia, Saltsburg; two daughters, Arlene Corridoni and husband Mark, Saltsburg, and Darlene Shirley and husband James, Saltsburg; eight grandchildren; and a brother, John, Wakeeney, Kan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl.

Friends were received in the Curran Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where funeral services were held Saturday, with Reverend Rick Helsel officiating.

Burial was in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
