Rocky Loren Cline, 59, of Knoxville TN, formerly of Gilbert, departed this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville after a short battle with cancer.

Born at Logan, WV on October 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Loren "Cat" Cline (1908-2010) and Elsie Workman-Cline.

Rocky was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a manager in the Nuclear Science & Technology Division. Rocky came to work as a lab technician in the Environmental Sciences Division in 1977. Over the next three decades he held several positions in the Information, Operations, Laboratory Protection, and Chemical Technology divisions before being named a manager in the Isotopes Development program in 2002. He of the Baptist faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are: his two sisters: Doris (Bernie) Cline-Spence of Accoville and Josephine (Bill) Cline-Hawks of Gilbert; his four brothers: French (Ernestine) Cline of Gilbert, Edger (Louise) Cline of Verner, Clifford (Josephine) Cline of Lockport NY, and Jerry Cline of Gilbert; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, January 24th from 6 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 25th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Pope officiating.

Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
