Evelyn E. Brown, 76, of 2708 12th Ave. S., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul G. Helmer officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Friday.
Surviving is her husband Jerald; two sons, Arnold and his wife Janice of Troy, Ill., and Ronald and his wife Mary of Fort Dodge; two daughters, Elaine and her husband Allan Jamieson of Erie, Colo., and Lori and her husband Monty Read of Clare; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Harold Fuller and Leonard
Fuller, both of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd M. and Alma H. (Sindlinger) Fuller, and her two brothers, Arnold and Raymond.
Evelyn E. Fuller was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge High in 1945. Following her education, she became employed for the Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Company, and later worked for Mid-Continent Lumber. On Sep 24, 1955, she was united in marriage to Jerald Brown at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and they established their home in Fort Dodge. In 1988, she and her husband established Jerry's Mix and Match, which they owned and operated until the time of her death. She was also a self-employed seamstress all her life.
Evelyn was a lifelong member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she was actively involved as a Sunday School Teacher. At the church she was also a chair member, she served on several committees and served along with her husband as the church Treasurer for 40 years.
She was devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and spending time with her family.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
